It's a noisy, complicated world and no company gets a chance for people to remember that much about them. Clarity about what we want the audience to know and how we we want to say it is mission critical, and that's my focus at PASO Consulting. Twenty five years working in Asia, living in Japan, Singapore and Vietnam, has been rooted in business journalism, researching and writing reports, copywriting, and content creation. In the 1990s I co-founded Newspeed, a photo and story agency focusing on Japanese lifestyle and culture, selling pieces into The Face, Oui, GQ, Le Figaro, Der Spiegel, and many others. Since then, I’ve researched and produced reports for the Economist Intelligence Unit; written an arts and culture blog for the Singapore Ministry of Culture, and honed my storyboarding skills to support B2B clients of Simpleshow Asia. Most recently, I have been helping technology companies like NEC, Cloudflare, Vodafone and Fujifilm explain the value their new products and services can unlock for organisations. Now I've teamed up with the amazing @Sophie Crosby to form PASO Consulting, deepening my involvement in technology communications. PASO adds bandwidth and capability to product marketing and sales teams when you need it. Combining forces, we bring to bear long experience in SaaS, data products, B2B marketing, live events, business journalism and copywriting to craft narratives that really connect, whether it’s an internal presentation or a market-facing deck designed to win over the C-suite. We get the point across with the least amount of information possible and do it in such a way that the audience leans forward and pays attention.
