Experience includes structured finance and securitization transactions (including RMBS, ABS, CRE CLO, and SFR), investment fund formations and joint ventures, and capital markets activity tied to real estate and operating platforms. Is relied upon for matters requiring coordination of legal, regulatory, and commercial considerations in high-stakes, time-sensitive environments. Brings a perspective informed by prior in-house leadership and senior operating experience, supporting clients on governance, transaction structuring, risk allocation, and long-horizon decision-making.

Served as Chief Legal Officer and a member of the executive leadership team of an institutional single-family residential investment platform. Oversaw legal strategy and operations across portfolio growth, capital markets activity, governance, regulatory compliance, property management, and enterprise risk, with responsibility for platform-level strategy, capital integration, and enterprise operating governance. Previously held the role of General Counsel and Chief Administrative Officer.

Held various senior leadership roles at Amherst, most recently as Senior Managing Director and head of legal and compliance. Structured financing solutions, including single-seller conduits, market value swaps, and credit enhancement structures, in collaboration with trading, risk, and product teams.
