About

The greatest achievements are rarely solitary. In infrastructure, it takes collaboration and shared purpose to overcome challenges. That's why I leverage my natural ability to build strong, lasting relationships to nurture a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. This enables my multidisciplinary teams to achieve excellence in service delivery across expansive operations and complex infrastructure portfolios. A creative problem-solver with a strategic approach to asset management and capital works, I deliver outcomes that meet standards on time and on budget. I oversee the management of financial and asset resources, collaborating across divisions and agencies and setting clear, measurable goals. I lean on my experience developing contract management frameworks for built infrastructure to uplift governance practices and weave risk management into the very fabric of an organisation. This locks in quality and compliance. I work closely with key stakeholders to shape systems and processes that inform decision-making and deliver operational efficiencies. I lead the development of Government mechanisms and support business improvement projects, influencing and communicating with all levels to achieve meaningful cultural change that takes staff engagement to the next level. Someone who champions innovation, I align contractor engagement frameworks with strong governance practices—whether leading teams in the public or private sector, that's not always an easy balance to strike. But I'm comfortable in complex environments and, with attention to detail, keep my eye firmly on the outcome. In business planning and financial performance management, I drive cost reductions and margin enhancements. When developing policies or getting involved with hands-on execution, I'm driven by a desire to make a lasting impact and inspire change—both in the organisations I lead and in the broader infrastructure sector. I'm a team player with a positive outlook who genuinely believes relationships with staff and stakeholders are the key to unlocking success. If you agree, let's connect. 📩 lachlan24@hotmail.com 📱0429 442 590

Achieved significant operational and delivery savings by reforming the NSW LAHC Assets Division inclusive of the review, development, tender and award of the largest social housing maintenance contract in the southern hemisphere valued at over $3 billion. This reform was driven by my development of a new business strategy which: • Changed the commercial relationship with the social housing maintenance providers from a schedule of rates approach to a incentivised lump sum benchmark captured in a new maintenance contract and; • Transformed the LAHC Assets operating structure and workforce reducing the number of staff and office locations. This complex reform was undertaken against a highly sensitive political backdrop and affected over 400,000 vulnerable social housing tenants.
