Telecom Retail's representitive on projects addressing modifications to front-line applications required to comply with Telecom's Operational Separation Undertakings with the New Zealand Government.

Mercury Energy, a subsidiary of MRP, offered work on retail projects intended to leverage the deployment of "Smart" electricity meters throughout New Zealand. This involved both requirements articulation and process redesign for end users in call centre, credit, billing & invoicing, back office administration of customer account & meter management, IT and MRP's metering subsidiary Metrix. I had detailed exposure to their ERP system SAP, the GloBug pre-paid offering, and many industry-related systems. This involved work with SaaS and AaaS applications around Sales Force and included MRP's first use of Agile development methodology.

Lead business analyst for a greenfield supply chain joint venture between Telecom and DHL. Consulted with key stakeholders to develop the business proposition and develop high level processes to aid in software vendor seletion, solution design, revenue generation model and the structure of the joint venture.

Managed development, support and internal sales of a commodity trading management system that was rolled out gloabally to various Cargill trading locations. System remains green-screen today but is still in active use throughout Asia Pacific. Either I did a great job or Cargill is being overly frugle.

Discovery work around a proposed desktop replacement projects related t the aggregation of the 8 legacy councils into the supercity.

Pilot project for RFID tag readers for tags on rail wagons & locomotives Server migration project

Senior Business Analyst on a number of infrastructure, business & customer facing projects for Vodafone NZ. Included the rollout of the Apple iPhone 3G, customer complaints management, IVR initiatives, closed-loop email marketing, user authentication and authorisation system, in-store kiosks for pre-pay top-ups, and an application for service-oriented architecture.. Worked with stakeholders of all levels from marketing, customer care, sales, IT operations, IT architects as well as numerous project managers and other BA's.

Participated in the project to rollout Woosh's VoIP product offering to customers. Then work on requirements for internet banking for customer remittances and transforming CPE from customer owned to Woosh owned equipment. As Revenue Assurrance Manager I manged 6 reports focusing on billing & invoicing, AR & credit control functions, billing inquiries, and various revenue leakage risk areas. I integrated these same functions following the Quicksilver acquisition.

I spent close to 8 years based in Singapore but in a regional role that rolled out business solutions to meet the demands of tripling Cargill’s Agri-trading/manufacturing footprint in Asia Pacific. My region extended from Japan all the way across to India and included business in the heart of Tokyo & Osaka, to the booming district of Guangzhou as well as operations in remote villages within Indonesia and the Philippines. Leading a team of 6 direct reports, I served as the regional platform IT manager for a number of trading and manufacturing businesses, but was required to fulfil the roles of project manager, & business analyst as needs dictated. I drove a number of regional, platform and corporate initiatives on behalf of the businesses I represented.
