Island Fantasy was Victoria B.C.'s largest comic book store, one of the three largest in Canada, and well known and highly regarded across North America and around the world. As manager, I was responsible for just about everything from personnel selection, training and supervision through customer and public relations to record keeping and inventory control. I developed a successful publicity program, organized the store's special order and mail order services, and represented the store in local business organizations. I was proud of Island Fantasy's reputation as a leader in the industry.
