You're probably not at all interested in my work, my education or all the other boring stuff. What you might be interested in are some of my life goals. I believe that the sky offers a huge potential for all of us. At this moment we are exploiting the planet in an unsustainable way. My goal is to relieve the planet by starting to use the full potential of our skies. So that's why I founded Avy. Funded by the European Space Agency, Orange Wings and the EU Innovation Council, we develop state-of-the-art technology for sustainable and autonomous aviation. I believe that the worldwide educational system is outdated and doesn't support in making the huge potentials in every human being come true. I work on changing that with Breekjaar (Breakyear), a non-profit driven to change the schooling system. I believe that happiness is the most important factor in every organization. That's why I aim to make everybody working at our company feel absolutely happy and healthy. I believe that the power of creation and innovation lies in everyone and that they are somehow linked to the willingness of taking risks. Avy developed a radical new type of aircraft called: Winged-drone. The Avy aircraft is capable of ultra long range flights, has zero footprint / emission, and is fully self-flying. The Avy is being developed to operate in nature conservation to save Wildlife, in the medical field to ship medicines, supplies and vaccines, and as a Search&Rescue drone to save people in need.

The 'Nationale Eindexamentraining' is a joint-venture with ThiemeMeulenhoff. Here we use the best teachers and the educational material of the highest quality, all combined with over 30 years of experience to make everyone pass their final exams. And I believe, all in my humble opinion, that we are quite good in that. Last year we trained about 3000 high school students and more than 95% passed their finals!
