Patrick Rericha PhD

Scientific Lead @ ABS Biotechnologies GmbH

About

I am a Scientific Lead with a background in stem cell biology and biotechnology, experienced in translating complex scientific concepts into development and strategic decision-making within both startup and industry environments. My work has spanned R&D, process development, and cross-functional collaboration, with a particular focus on aligning scientific outputs with downstream clinical, manufacturing, and regulatory requirements. Through this, I have developed a strong interest in regulatory strategy, especially in the context of advanced therapies, where scientific innovation must be matched with robust and evolving regulatory frameworks. I am particularly motivated by roles at the interface of science and regulation, where I can contribute to the development of high-quality data packages, support regulatory submissions, and help guide programs through increasingly complex global requirements. My goal is to leverage my scientific depth and translational experience in Regulatory Affairs, supporting the development of innovative therapies from early-stage research through to clinical and commercial success.
