I started my career working in the Information Technology field as a Programmer/Analyst at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. During my time at Wayne State, I worked extensively with student data, as well as with software updates to the legacy student system, a COBOL based system with VSAM database files that I maintained. We eventually evolved to the Oracle based Banner System. Later, I accepted a Systems position with the Financial Assistance department at Arizona State IUniversity in Tempe, Arizona, From there, I moved much more into a data mining and visualization role.
