- Generate RFQ's for custom automation equipment; machined parts, weldments, flamecut/lasercuts - Sort and direct flow of engineering drawings - Review vendor quotations to ensure; statement of work accuracy, pricing and delivery - Generate and maintain purchase orders - Liaise with project leads and vendors to maintain schedule, sometimes pulling in delivery of select items, partial orders or staggering deliveries - Work with Quality Department and vendors to resolve any discrepancies with MTR’s, CofC’s or Dimensional Reports - Request and collect CAD/DXF/STEP files required by vendors to complete PO's - Attend Project Kick-off's and Escalation meetings on larger projects - Research, Visit and Setup local Fab/Machine shops as potential outsourcing vendors, maintaining a professional and mutual beneficial relationship - Cover for Production Control Supervisor when absent or on vacation
