Ik werk aan een Breda waar circulariteit geen ambitie is maar dagelijkse praktijk. Bij Breda Circulair help ik bedrijven om slimmer met materialen om te gaan, reststromen te benutten en nieuwe ketens te bouwen. Ik breng partijen bij elkaar, vertaal kansen naar haalbare projecten en zorg dat iedereen mee kan doen—van kleine ondernemer tot grote producent.

In mijn rol als Manager Product Development, Quality & Sustainability zorg ik dat we bij Princess Traveller producten maken waar je écht mee vooruit kunt: stevig, slim ontworpen en steeds circulairder. Ik werk van idee tot eindproduct en verbind alles wat ertussen zit—materialen, mensen, partners en kansen. Ik trek de kar op het gebied van productontwikkeling en duurzaamheid, maar altijd met een praktische insteek: wat kunnen we vandaag al slimmer doen? Hoe maken we reststromen tot hoogwaardige materialen? En hoe zorgen we dat het ook commercieel klopt? Daarnaast stuur ik ons Customer Service team aan en het team in China, zodat de hele keten op elkaar aansluit. Van ontwerp en productie tot kwaliteit en klantfeedback: alles komt samen, en dat maakt het werk juist interessant. Ik ben iemand die graag beweging creëert. Ik verbind partijen, vertaal technische keuzes naar begrijpelijke verhalen en zorg dat iedereen snapt waarom we doen wat we doen. Geen grote woorden, maar concrete stappen en producten die laten zien dat duurzaamheid en kwaliteit prima samen kunnen gaan.

Working at ECS Electronics, a international leading company in developing and manufacturing electronics systems for the automotive industry. It develops and supply products as a tier 1 and 2 supplier to all OEM customers and also supplies the After Market with high quality and technical products. As manager of the R&D-Vietnam department & Supervisor OE Projects, I am responsible for the department and all development projects and processes that are running at the Research and Development department of the Vietnam and Breda location, including the development of the Production Processes. Being located at the companies' headquarter in The Netherlands It requires to travel on regular bases between both locations. As Supervisor over the OE-Developments am I the second in command of the headquarters' Research and Development department, as where I am responsible for the day-to-day tasks and OE-projects. During this period I was responsible to develop and implement new APQP processes and IT-systems according to the IATF16949 within the complete organisation. During this period we also managed to achieve certification according to the IATF16949 standard at our R&D-Vietnam facility as only one of the few companies in Vietnam. As an Certified Lead- and Internal Auditor I perform internal audits according to ISO9001, ISO14001, IATF16949 and VDA6.3. Besides the development tasks of the R&D centers, I manage for some selected customers our commercial accounts, and be the first contact for all commercial activities for those customers. For all activities I respond directly to the overall Manager Research and Development and General Manager of ECS Electronics.

As manager of the R&D-Vietnam department, I am responsible for the department and all projects and processes that are running at the Research and Development department of the Vietnam location. Being located at the companies' headquarter in The Netherlands It requires to travel on regular bases between both locations. As manager R&D-Vietnam I am also the second in command of the headquarters' Research and Development department, as where I am the back up for the Deputy Manager R&D for the day-to-day tasks and projects. Besides the department tasks, I manage for some selected customers our commercial accounts, and be the first contact for all commercial activities for those customers. Besides the tasks related to the R&D department, I am also the responsible person for the companies' Customer Care Technical Helpline. Where we assist our customers with any technical issues. This after sales activity is a part of our continues product and process improvement program, and that we use to analyze our market and products for improving our products and our customers satisfaction. For all activities I respond directly to the overall Manager Research and Development and General Manager of ECS Electronics.

During this project I was the Project Manager to establish a new Research and Development department at the companies' Vietnam location. For this two and half year project, I have been located full time as expat in Vietnam and was responsible for all aspects of this project. This included creating and organizing facilities, sourcing and training people, creating and implementing all processes and quality systems. After this project, there is now a solid department with Product Developers, Graphic Designers and Prototype Technicians, which is operating fully within the companies' processes of development and communications. The Vietnam department now develops products for international customers according the ISO-TS standard and give daily support to the headquarters' department.
