The CFO is the top level financial management position. I was responsible for the direction, organization and coordination of all financial services and resources for the hospital. Participated in the development, implementation and achievement of the financial plans, both short and long range. Supported the Hospital Work Plan via participation on various operational and planning committees.

I held various positions within Fairview, but the last one with the construction of the new hospital was as CFO.

Serve as the organization’s CFO providing leadership to ensure the efficient and cost effective operation of the organization through fiscal management, resource management, information sharing, and the promotion of quality and service excellence. Responsibilities include the day-to-day financial operation of the organization, including accounting, billing, information technology (IT) financial reporting, and financial analysis.

I provide financial service support with data management, data analysis and financial reporting for Fairview’s Shared Clinical Services to improve Fairview's operational and financial effectiveness. With emphasis on system wide Medical Imaging, Orthopaedics and Laboratory service lines.

I provide leadership as a member of the Senior Management Administrative Team. Participates in the management of the hospital’s internal operation and external relationships to assure achievement of UHD’s strategic and organizational performance goals. Provides knowledge, resource, and direction for all financial functions. I supervise the following areas: Health Information, Business Office, Information Systems, Human Resources, Plant Operations & Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Accounting.
