Directed department consisting of 8 staff and 500 volunteers spanning two locations who interacted with patients and families through a broad spectrum of roles and services. Programs included patient and family advisory councils, peer mentor, remote resources and patient and family resource centers. Expertise in EQ, training, OD management, staff development, continuous improvement, program re-envisioning and growth.

-Consulted on philanthropic goals resulting in clear mission focused on college opportunity for Hispanic youth -Conducted national research for devising a process for distribution of foundation funds -Provided grants management services -Consulted on further development of foundation mission and grant initiatives -Designed and implemented philanthropic goals to accurately reflect values and mission of foundation trustees resulting in clear mission statement, $400,000 in grants awarded and new direction for foundation. -Managed operational issues surrounding grantee reporting, site visits and technical assistance needed -Initiated the development of a new institute for relational learning in after- school programs. -Managed and participated in program development, curriculum design and training

-Designed and implemented new training curricula for work with diverse group of adolescents in summer academic and identity development program. -Facilitated workgroup that identified organizational training needs for leadership, diversity and operational functions. -Provided assessment of operations staff training needs in a complex diverse environment of African American and female Holocaust survivor exhibit volunteers -Designed and delivered diversity training that resulted in 75% increase in staff retention rate -Structured cross functional work teams focused on operations, inter-departmental communications and visitor service issues resulting in a redesign of floor operations
