Polycultural Immigrant & Community Services is a charitable, non-profit, community-based agency serving individuals and communities for over 40 years! Assisting youth, seniors, women, families newcomers & communities to integrate & participate in Canadian life.

From September to January 2013, I was responsible for designing and teaching web classes to young adult learners in China. I also designed, taught and assessed integrated ESL classes for international students, with the aim of preparing them to attend university in Canada or the United States. Finally, I contributed to curriculum design for English language and literature courses within the context of the OSSD system.

My responsibilities included designing, teaching and assessing undergraduate and graduate courses in French language, translation, literature and culture. I also taught online French language courses and had administrative responsibilities such as coordinating courses, providing pastoral care to students, supervising part-time instructors and recruiting potential students. I also published academic research and presented my research at national and international conferences.

I am responsible for transcribing (in English) and translating (French to English and English to French) audio recordings of qualitative market research (focus groups, adlabs, interviews).
