Classic Ceramics is a well-established and expanding National Importer/Distributor of high-end ceramic tiles and natural stone. Driven by a passion for excellent design, product and service, Sam Giunta founded Classic Ceramics in in 1970. The company has worked alongside Italy's leading designers and manufacturers to showcase the finest creations in the house of Classic Ceramics.

Worked as the Interior Design Director for Blake & Taylor from 2012-2015. - Designing and decorating residential and commercial spaces - Holding client meetings, consultations and client presentations - Responsible for bringing Interior Design projects from the initial brief to final presentation, within set deadlines - Lead designs on any given project, driving and developing innovative and creative design concepts for the client as specified in the design brief - Assessing client briefs including time and budgetary requirements - Preparation of presentation boards, in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign, for client projects - Working drawings using AutoCAD and 3-dimensional drawings using SketchUp - Liasing with furniture, fabrics and homewares suppliers - Organising contractors for the production and installation of design and decorating items - Onsite installation and styling of decorative and design items including window treatments, soft furnishings, furniture and lighting - Working autonomously and within a fast-paced team - Assisted with general office administrative duties - Practicing a high level of organisational and time management skills, always meeting deadlines - Growing the Interior Design Department to become an established design firm in Brisbane
