The Riverside Company is a global investment firm specializing in private equity, with a focus on supporting the growth of businesses at the smaller end of the middle market. Since its founding in 1988, Riverside has made over 1,000 investments and manages a diverse international portfolio. One of its flagship vehicles is the Riverside Micro-Cap Fund (RMCF), which first launched in 2005 and is dedicated to investing in fast-growing North American companies with generally up to $10 million of EBITDA. The most recent fund in this series, RMCF VI, closed at $1.872 billion, making it the largest in the fund’s history. I worked on the investment team during my time. I was staffed to over 10 live deal teams, providing value in the Due Diligence process. I also worked on a summer long project that focused on presenting a full deal to the investment team. A full LBO Model and investment thesis were created in this process.

Sumaria Systems, LLC is a leading provider of information technology, engineering, and professional services focused primarily on supporting U.S. Department of Defense and government agency clients. Founded in 1982 and headquartered in Peabody, Massachusetts, Sumaria delivers a wide range of solutions including network management, software engineering, cybersecurity, and enterprise networking. My role within Sumaria surrounded building a new financial model to not only evaluate the firm's own financials, but also an M&A template to evaluate how potential acquisitions would fit into the business. This unique role enabled me to creatively think about how to combine an internal FP&A model with a functional M&A model.

Liberty Marathon Capital is an early stage hedge fund aimed at generating consistent returns in the equities market. At LMC, automation is a key strategic goal. This goal aims to help upper management make quick investment decisions in their approach. My role within the firm was to create automated financial models from scratch, working with CapIQ to pull up to date financial information. The models are designed to be completely automated and standardized, meaning you can view any stock's financials and key metrics without having to manually change anything. I also did Equity Research for the firm, looking at a multitude of opportunities for the across the TMT and Consumer Discretionary industries.

Stonehill Strategic Capital is a direct commercial real estate lender providing permanent, bridge, mezzanine, and PACE loans in addition to preferred equity investments secured by real estate assets. The firm has originated/acquired over $5.1 billion in loans. During my time with the firm, I learned how to underwrite CRE assets, analyzing the underlying factors that determine the strengths/weaknesses of the deals the borrowers enter. I worked on live underwriting projects that totaled ~$300m in loans, gaining exposure to the dealmaking side. The firm also hosted weekly Lunch & Learns, allowing us to learn about every aspect of the fund, including the acquisitions and development side.

Assisted professional trainers in one on one sessions as well as in group sessions as well. I also would film willing clients and edit clips to be posted on the company's social media pages.
