Teacher of 20 years, having taught in Primary, Special Education EBD (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties) and Secondary Special Education managing a base for students with MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties) I aspire to encourage and support young people with LDD (Learning Difficulties and Disabilities) to achieve their potential in the adult world. I would love to hear from anyone who has similar aims in any part of the country.

Primarily fundraising with Liz Clayton, for local children and young people with Spina Bifida and/or Hydrocephalus. This included wheelchair weekends, incontinence study days, and for social development, Christmas parties, meals and discos. We established a wheelchair Basketball team (Reading Rollers) and even had a wonderful driving instructor who taught the young people to drive in the ASBAH car.
