Junior Electrical Engineer DECH High Voltage | Nevada Gold Mines (NGM) As a Junior Electrical Engineer, I supported high-voltage electrical projects at Nevada Gold Mines, gaining hands-on experience in arc flash studies, electrical testing, and high-voltage system operations. I assisted with on-site data collection, equipment testing, and verification, working closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. During my tenure, I earned OSHA 10 and MSHA certifications and benefited from DECH High Voltage’s flexible and supportive environment, which allowed me to enhance my technical skills, deepen my understanding of electrical systems rated 480V and above, and gain practical experience in industrial and mining electrical operations. Key contributions: Assisted in arc flash studies, testing, and high-voltage maintenance. Performed data collection and on-site electrical inspections to support safe and compliant operations. Collaborated with senior engineers and technicians to execute field tasks efficiently. Expanded knowledge of electrical safety, system troubleshooting, and commissioning practices.

Teaching Assistant (TA) and Tutor – California State University, Fullerton February 2024 – May 2025 Teaching Assistant (May 2024 – Present): Working under Dr. Rakesh Mahto on advanced research projects. Simulating Microgrid Integration of Solar and Wind energy with hydrogen production through electrolysis, aiming to replace conventional batteries with hydrogen-based load cells for nighttime energy storage in remote areas. Assisting in a campus solar energy integration project in partnership with Southern California Edison (SCE) to expand renewable energy utilization. Conducted 5-Bus Load Flow Analysis and Contingency Studies using ETAP and Power World Simulator. * Automated data management tasks using Excel VBA to streamline simulation results. * Created 3D models using AutoCAD Fusion 360 to aid project visualization and development. Tutor (February 2024 – May 2024): * Provided academic tutoring in Electrical Circuits to undergraduate students. * Helped students improve their conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills through individualized and group tutoring sessions.

* To direct and carry out the motor assembly by the team members. * Assure the availability of the materials and resources needed for motor assembly. * Assure effective coordination and planning in advance with the relevant production, assembly, and testing teams. * To carry out quality inspection and testing of the motor at various stages and keep accurate records. * Maintain a record of little waste and rejection.

As a junior engineer I am responsible for verifying and testing assigned metrics on projects, entering test results into the quality control database, identifying potential areas of product improvement, and recommending and assisting with the development of appropriate solutions.

My journey during bachelor's in Electrical Engineering has been very immense and unrivalled, the journey encompassed many ups and downs with a steady state of hope of not giving up. Engineering accepted the duties that a real engineer must comprehend, serving the fundamental goal of engineering. I am very proud to be an Electrical Engineer because studying Power Electronic, Power System, and Electrical Machines, which are the entities of Electrical Engineering, helped me understand all of its facets and realise that the world needs Electrical Engineers not only to function but also to survive. As a result, I became interested in fields like Renewable Energy, Electric Vehicles, and many more.
