As a seasoned professional in the coal mining industry, with over two decades of experience, I currently lead a team of Geologists and Mining Engineers of Coal Mines of Vedanta Aluminum. My role focuses on conducting exploration , strategic planning and to framework quality control activities for five operating as well as developing mines in Odisha. My expertise spans coal geology, resource modeling, mining operations, quality assurance, ensuring efficient integration of coal resources into steelmaking as well as power generation processes, techno-financial due diligence for greenfield and brownfield coal mining projects, fostering business development, and collaborating with stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with organizational goals. With a proven track record in underground, highwall and open-cast mining, I bring a deep understanding of coal beneficiation, exploration, and mine planning. My passion lies in driving innovative solutions for resource optimization while building high-performing teams.
