Parneet Kaire

After graduating with my degree in Criminology and Minor in Psychology from then Ryerson University (now Toronto Metropolitan University), I developed a deep interest and passion in community work, in particular working with and supporting survivors of intimate partner violence and gender-based violence (using survivor-centric, trauma-informed, and anti-oppressive approaches). Currently, I am working with families who have youth in their lives who are impacted by or may potentially go down the path of crime and violence in the community. I continue to provide one-on-one, information and resource-based supports. An ultimate goal I have as I continue to expand my experience in the community services field is placing a positive impact on the lives of individuals and families, and supporting them in their healing journey. With the current post-secondary degree I hold and the plethora of experience and skills I have working with people, I am in the process of exploring other options for career expansion yet to be determined. I am open to connecting with professionals in law enforcement and investigative services.
