Responsibilities:-  Inventory & Vendor Management.  Strategic Planning & Procurement.  Strong Negotiation Skills.  Crisis & Risk Management.  International Imports Management – East Asia and European countries.  Actively involved in the planning of key raw materials including Resins, Solvents, Monomers, Additives, Pigments (Tio2), Emulsions, and Driers across 4 manufacturing locations.  Updating Management on regular basis by generating MIS like Price trend, Standard cost, Price variation comparing with Standard cost, status on development of alternate sources.  Monitoring of Price trend of key intermediates for major raw materials to support cost control and sourcing decisions.  Keep the Management informed about the tentative prices of outsourced FGs of competitor from the common source.  Taken initiative for arranging direct import from the manufacturer of Tio2 from China earlier which was being bought from Indian Manufacturer.  Developed import substitute of Pigments, Resin & Additives raw material resulting in cost reduction & smooth supplies. SPECIAL ACHIEVEMENTS:-  Have developed sources for low value FGs like EWP/Water Proof Putty nearest to the location which is Close to major contributing RMs.  Outsourced regional vendors for Distemper and Black Bituminous FGs to optimize logistics and reduce Transportation costs  To develop a vendor having the distillation facility to replace costly products with recycled one.  Always playing key Role in coordination with technical teams of vendors and our organization to replace Raw Materials like Pigments, Resins, Solvents, and Additives etc.  Have introduced several Solvents to substitute conventional solvents resulting in huge saving to the Organisation.  Have introduced Slop oil of Reliance in Resin Production to replace MTO resulting in saving of Rs 10/- with a Monthly volumes of 120 MT.  Have developed Haze Thickener to replace Associated Thickener to avail dosage advantage.  Development of Chines Rutile Tio2 to replace European Sulphate and Chloride Processed Tio2.  Lead Role in new expansion overseeing Civil Work, PEB, Statutory compliance etc.  Core Committee Member responsible for evaluating and finalizing Capex and Opex pricing decisions.
