People, art, and policies - my life in three moods. Hi, I’m Palak Jain, a Human Resources professional currently working in Airtel as Talent Acquisition Associate in Mumbai, pursued MBA at Manipal University Jaipur, where I’m exploring everything from talent strategy to organisational psychology (and yes, sometimes Excel too). Before this, I completed my B.Com from Nagindas Khandwala College (University of Mumbai) with an ‘A’ grade, where I first realised that while business runs on numbers, it thrives on people. I’ve explored HR beyond the classroom - during my internship at Airtel, I become the part of interviews, learned background verifications, and helped execute engagement events that brought 350+ people together (IYKYK: being part of such big event is no joke). Parallelly, I run Tiktik, my creative baby turned venture. It started with DIY crafts on my bedroom floor and grew into workshops with 300+ attendees, customised monthly orders, and exhibitions where I got to talk, sell, and smile through it all. To sharpen my HR toolkit, I’ve completed certifications in HR Analytics (Power BI), Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and Excel Essentials because I believe that the future of HR lies at the intersection of data, design thinking, and empathy. I’m a big believer in learning by doing, creating with intention, and showing up authentically, whether I’m building a talent strategy or crafting a handmade greeting card. My end goal? To become a Global Talent Manager who helps people find meaning in their work and feel seen in their workplace. When I’m not in front of my laptop, you’ll find me painting, dancing, organising things that don’t need organising, or romanticising my next sleep-in Sunday.
