The University of Pittsburgh has provided me with many hands on experiences with clinical rotations in all aspects of patient care. During my preceptorship at Magee Women’s and Babies Hospital, I completed 270 hours of clinical shifts with a labor and delivery nurse. This experience along with clinical experiences on postpartum and antepartum floors. I was taught about delivery medications, fetal heart monitoring interpretations, emergency labor complications, along with patient and baby care.
