Expanded this role to take on responsibility for major exhibition openings at the museum, including committee-led fundraising galas. Produced stewardship reports for exhibition donors, as well as correspondence and other communications. Served as the social media liaison for the department.

Responsible for email marketing, web editing, and social media for the local chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Produced digital communications for all aspects of the chapter's work, from fundraising events to programs and services available to local families living with MS. Examples include the Bike MS: City to Shore Ride (mscycling.org), attracting more than 7,000 participants each year, and Walk MS (walk4ms.org), attracting more than 15,000 participants each year.

While working for the second Prime Minister's Initiative for International Education (PMI2), I was responsible for managing a series of webinars (web-based seminars) for the UK further and higher education sectors, a regular e-newsletter about PMI2 and opportunities to become involved, and a series of short films about the experience of international students in the UK. I also worked part time with the Going Global team to manage the poster presentations for the annual international education conference.

As Content and Communications Manager for the British Council's international further and higher education conference, I was responsible for the development of the conference program and a variety of event-related communications, including the Going Global website and regular internal and external e-newsletters. I worked with a high level international steering committee and senior colleagues to put together a two-day conference for more than 1,500 leaders in international education. I helped more than 250 speakers and poster presenters each year with all aspects of conference preparation, from the call for proposals and session development to the coordination of electronic presentations. In addition, I project managed the first ever conference publication, working closely with the editors and publishing company.

During my full time postgraduate degree, I interned two days a week with the Public Affairs team at the London office of Grayling Global, assisting with research and client monitoring.
