Ozgur Sahinoglu, Ph.D.

With over 20 years of experience in strategic management and finance, I take great pride in supporting companies in achieving their financial sustainability and strategic growth goals. As a professional specializing in independent board memberships, risk management, finance, and financial insurance, I continue to share my knowledge and expertise across both business and academic fields. In 2016, I founded FinansZone, which operates as one of the elite agencies of Euler Hermes Sigorta A.Ş. – Allianz Trade in Turkey. Along with our UK office, FinansZone provides international financing, credit insurance, and surety bond solutions to our clients. I aim to help businesses achieve sustainable growth in both local and global markets. Throughout my career, I have held critical positions, including Independent Board Member at Turconn Metal Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., Branch Manager at Burgan Bank, and Technical General Manager of Financial Insurance at Rok Sigorta. Additionally, I have worked in portfolio management and branch management roles at leading financial institutions such as TEB, Garanti Bankası, and Yapı Kredi/Koçbank. I have led numerous projects, particularly in developing financial solutions tailored to SMEs. Academically, I completed my doctoral studies in Strategic Management at Piri Reis University, where I also lectured. My research focuses on areas such as corporate governance, sustainability, and risk management. Furthermore, I hold a master’s degree in Banking and Finance from Marmara University and a bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature from Hacettepe University. My key certifications include the Board Membership Expertise Program from the Corporate Governance Association of Turkey, the Level 3 Capital Market Activities License, and the Commercial Credit Insurance Agency Certification. With advanced proficiency in English, I continue to focus on strengthening collaborations on both local and international platforms.
