Responsible for legal compliance, identifying and managing legal risks, conducting reviews and trainings, drafting and negotiating contracts for oilfield services and products, providing overall contractual and legal advice to management, and is involved in business plans, strategies and operations as part of the management team.

• Responsible and accountable for pre-award and post-award management of all Client Contracts for services and products until their conclusion and managing Client Contract process from the moment the tender evaluation commences up to the end date of the Client Contract; • Overall management of all Clients service contracts, subcontracts, resolution of Contractual issues and ensuring that Client Contracts are in compliance with the Schlumberger Client Contracts Risk Standard and contracting guidelines; • Reviewing and assessing the liabilities in Client Contracts in order to provide expert advice to segment operations managers and management team; • Collaborating with Legal and Finance Departments (including Tax), HSE, Supply Chain, Operations to ensure contractual and commercial risks and exposures are clearly identified, analyzed and properly addressed in contractual provisions; • Providing overall Contractual advice to management and actively seeking involvement in business plans, strategies and operations as part of the management team and in line with Area/Segment/function strategies; • Managing contract claims or disputes and negotiating and closing contractual disputes, being responsible for negotiation strategies; • Conducting periodic contractual audits to measure the level of contractual compliance as well as identifying areas for improvement and and conducting contracts training/presentations

Advising the multinational oil and gas and other companies on the application of Civil Code, Tax Code, Customs Code, Labor Code, Marine Code, Companies Law, Petroleum Law, licensing, currency regulations and other legislative acts; Registration and incorporation of branch and representatives offices of clients, drafting foundation documents; Consultancy in corporate legal matters, investment and financing, reviewing and drafting the contracts; Representation of clients before the state authorities; Development of labor contracts and advising multinational companies on the labor legislation, advising clients on efficient employment structures due to specific requirements of the clients, corporate aspects related to implementation of secondment structure, migration/registration requirements for the expatriates to stay/work; Preparation of technical memoranda outlining the solutions for the issues raised by the clients; Advising foreign multinational companies on the tax implications of their operations and on the application of double tax treaties ratified to develop an optimal tax strategy; Researching the tax implications of cross-border transactions; Researching customs related issues for the client and advising them on the applicable customs duties, fees and restrictions.
