With 20+ years of experience at UNIQLO in Russia, Japan, Hong Kong and Macau, I've held diverse roles in store, area management, UNIQLO University, store development, and general operations, always driven by our ambition to be the world's number one fashion retailer. I am always motivated to step out of my comfort zone. For example when I spearheaded our expansion in Russia, growing our presence from 5 to 45 stores in over 10 cities, when I was responsible for managing over 850 stores in Japan, and when I took on my current role in Hong Kong and Macau to set up for global expansion. My leadership revolves around compassion, gratitude, teamwork, and a customer-first mindset. I prioritize acceptance, and actively listen to our people, customers and partners. As a leader, I believe in empowering talent to take on challenges, learn from experiences and embrace change - as inspired by our president’s “1 win, 9 lose” philosophy.
