Oscar Cunanan

Prepare and conduct technical presentations to clients introducing new building technologies with the intent of providing energy efficiency and achieve lightweight construction. Assigns and coordinate architectural and MEP work to design consultants; Prepare technical proposals, budgets, cash flow analysis, financial and construction schedules and review engineering estimates and P&L analysis and reports; Assist in establishing structural design parameters in relation to conceptual designs of potential projects; Review and approve final proposals and Sales Contracts. Implements the Administrative and Operational Policies of the company; Supervises and manages the business affairs of the company with the CEO; Represents the company at all functions and proceedings; Executes, on behalf of the corporation, all contracts, instruments and other agreements, that has been approved by the CEO, which affects the interests of the corporation; Assumes total responsibility for over-all operational management and supervision of construction activities and managers, marketing and engineering divisions, in conformity with the corporation’s goals, programs and projects; and Provides technical expertise and gives direction for product research and market development.

Provides design and consultation in all major facets of engineering related to infrastructures in the fields of power, transportation, ports and building structures. Provide construction and construction management services in these fields as well.

Mr. Cunanan’s involvement with AECOM was being the Sr. Underground and Utilities Engineer in charge of design and document preparation involving most utilities such as drainage, water and waste water, fiber optics, gas lines, sewage, electrical duct banks, reclaimed water and mechanical piping works for the San Jose International Airport Project. He participated in providing program management services to the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Agency (VTA) on several of its highway Infrastructure projects as a Project Coordinator. He has also managed several track construction projects servicing both freight and commuter trains, following construction, safety guidelines and regulations of the State of California Public Utilities Commission (PUC), Federal Railroad Administration (FRA), Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) and Caltrain. Through the years, his diversity in adapting to different responsibilities, both in managing design projects and performing actual construction and construction management as well, has earned him an extensive knowledge with public agencies’ requirements on jurisdiction and standards, regulations and permitting processes. These agencies include the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers Board (PCJPB) / Caltrain, Santa Clara County VTA, City of San Jose Public Works Department and County of Santa Clara.
