Led a GBP 20 million advanced HTCC manufacturing factory setup in JB, Malaysia, from NPI to full-scale operations. Developed factory floor plan (~145,000 sq. ft.) follow up and ensure equipment and process flow is according to the designed layout. Spearheaded equipment specification, sourcing and qualified more than 45 bespoke equipment. Optimized equipment, process efficiency, quality and problem solving through lean methodologies, SPC, 8D, RCA, DMAIC, DOE, PFMEA, and VSM. Controlled CAPEX expenditure, ensuring alignment with project milestones with given budget. Established equipment work instruction, PM, Spare part management system. Setup and managed a team of 5 senior engineers and 20 technicians, fostering a strong teamwork and work safety cultures.

Led medical device validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) and VMP updates, ensuring compliance with ISO 13485 & FDA. Managed, repair and maintenance all advance equipment including ten (10) Automated injection molding lines (Fanuc 50T-100T), improving cycle time and minimizing downtime. Managed and designed optical tooling tool (PowerSuite Optoform 80) for contact lens manufacturing. Developed two double-sided contact lens production lines and two spin-cast lines, from concept till validation. Represented engineering department to support both internal and external quality audit from ISO and FDA. Supervised 4 engineers and 12 technicians, enhancing knowledge-sharing and work-life balance. Managed facilities, utilities energy efficiency.

Optimized plasma coating production lines, reducing post-PM readiness time by using halogen to pre-heating chamber, reducing lens moisture and pumping time. Performed FAT/SAT and qualified 4 plasma surface coating lines and ensuring seamless production. Streamlined PLC logic, HMI and debugging for full automation, reducing unexpected downtime and troubleshooting time. Coached and mentored engineers and technicians on plasma coating machine operation and technology transfer including improvement.

Handled all equipment and injection moulding machines repair and maintenance. Led maintenance, tooling modifications, and preventive maintenance schedules for injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment. Conducted DOE studies to establish optimal process parameters.

One of a new challenge in my career path. Manufacturing Engineering Manager at Applied Materials leading cross-functional engineering teams to optimize high-precision manufacturing processes, drive NPI execution, and scale next-generation semiconductor equipment solutions.

Most significant achievement was setting up advance manufacturing and qualified more than 50 equipment for mass production with such a great team.

Promoted become engineering manager in 2019. Recent significant accomplished is establish advance manufacturing line for mass production started from select the right equipment, floor layout, process and equipment qualification for all fully customize equipment for more than 50 equipment. Establish equipment installation plan and follow up. Organize team meeting and layout strategy short and long term with close follow-up.

Start work as team leader. Take care on equipment specification, design assembly and production line layout to meet target capacity. Manage a group of ME team. Promoted become engineering manager on 2019.

Start job as Senior engineer. Take care on medical devices equipment and proceed validation, equipment and process improvement. Highly result oriented with logical and realistic plan. Been promoted to be engineering manager on 2011 and from thereon, take care all engineering related tasks i. e. improve and maintain automation equipment for Medical devices, ensure optimized equipment performance and well maintain to support production run. Experience in ISO9001, 13485. Qualified internal audit.

Start job as junior process engineer as was 1st oversea job in my life. Lot of of new things and challenges learned during those year. Responsible on process and equipment validation in order to comply to medical device regulation as we produced contact lense. Take care on equipment improvement mainly on semi-auto and automated equipment. Experience in PLC, HMI, SCADA, project management, established schedule and follow up. Provide project progress report to supervisor. Last position before left principal process engineer 1 due to contract end and want to go back stay with family after 6 years away.

Take care on plastic injection moulding equipment to ensure optimum performance in order to support production plan and demand. Established systematically way of working within engineering team with clear role and responsibility, method, introduce new working technic to improve working efficiency.
