As an AI Project Manager within CIMB’s Group Data & AI (GDAI), I drive end-to-end AI initiatives across the organization, bridging strategy, technology, and business outcomes. My responsibilities include: • Managing enterprise AI projects from ideation, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, to adoption • Leading GenAI bot development, including CIMB’s first enterprise transaction banking bot, improving operational efficiency and internal workflows • Overseeing AI platform governance, including licensing, environment setup, and dashboard analytics for multiple projects • Coordinating internal and external AI programs, hackathons, and upskilling initiatives, enabling teams across CIMB to prototype and operationalize AI solutions • Driving AI adoption through training, coaching, and hands-on support for business units and senior leadership • Collaborating with stakeholders across business units, HR, IT, and external partners (Microsoft, AWS, SRKK, OpenAI) to align AI initiatives with CIMB’s strategic objectives

CIMB Digital Graduate Program – Journey Rotation 1: Enterprise Risk & Infrastructure – Climate Risk 📍 Nov 2024 – Feb 2025 • Supported CIMB’s climate risk agenda and compliance with Bank Negara Malaysia. • Automated climate risk reporting using Python (Visual Studio Code). • Prototyped a Tableau Risk Appetite Dashboard to monitor key indicators. • Contributed to climate stress testing and scenario analysis for regulatory submission. • Drafted internal reports on climate and sustainability for senior Risk Committees. Rotation 2 & Final Placement: Group Data & AI – AI Strategy & Transformation 📍 Feb 2025 – Oct 2025 Key Projects • KIBO Bot (Business Contact Centre) – CIMB’s First enterprise GenAI bot (Copilot Studio + RAG/LLM), launched Jul 2025 at CIMB AI Fest, enabling faster and more accurate responses for agents. • AI HR Chatbot – Automated handling of high-volume employee queries (leave, benefits, loans), reducing service tickets and improving turnaround. • Resume Bot – NLP-driven tool to parse and score resumes, accelerating hiring. • Meeting Minutes Bot – Automated Teams call summaries to improve documentation and productivity. Strategic Initiatives • External CIMB GenAI Hackathon (Apr 2025) – Led “Hack-to-Hire” with AWS, attracting 90+ participants; identified top technical and project management talent for AI roles. • Internal GenAI Hackathon & Prompt-a-thons – Co-organised 8 sessions across CIMB, engaging 650+ staff to prototype AI use cases on Azure AI, Microsoft Copilot, M365 and Power Platform. • AI Platform Governance – Managing enterprise-wide GenAI access, vendor collaboration (Microsoft, AWS, SRKK, OpenAI), and aligning initiatives to CIMB’s AI strategy. 💡 This journey has given me end-to-end exposure across climate risk, AI innovation, and large-scale transformation projects, equipping me to help drive CIMB’s vision of becoming an AI-driven bank.

As an Industrial Engineer Intern within the Business Planning Department at NXP Semiconductor Malaysia, I contributed to operational efficiency and strategic decision-making through data analytics and automation initiatives. Highlights of my role include: • Intelligent Earn Dashboard Project: Utilized Power BI and DAX for sophisticated data manipulation and visual trend analysis, including the creation of a rocket chart to compare Actual Earnings, Start Earnings, Earnings Goals, and Projections in a single view. Provided top management with real-time insights for strategic decision-making, resulting in increased production and earnings optimization. • Earn Projection Dashboard: Developed a forecast tool in Power BI to project future earnings, facilitating detailed operational and financial planning. The dashboard became a critical tool for management to visualize and strategize around production and earnings goals. • Non-MPQ Dashboard and Application: Created a comprehensive solution combining a Power Apps application and Power BI dashboard for efficient tracking and management of Non-Minimum Packing Quantity lots.
