Summer Intern – Corporate HRD Department National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), Bhubaneswar May 2025 – June 2025 Mentor: Mr. Venkateswara Rao Puripanda, AGM (HRD) I successfully completed a summer internship in the Corporate Human Resource Development (HRD) Department at NALCO, a prominent public sector undertaking. Under the expert mentorship of Mr. Venkateswara Rao Puripanda, I undertook an in-depth project titled “A Study on Performance Management System at NALCO,” which offered valuable insights into the organization’s performance appraisal framework and employee development initiatives. This experience provided me with practical exposure to diverse HR functions and enhanced my understanding of strategic human resource management.

Maintain and update the employee database to ensure accurate and up-to-date records. Organize and manage employee personal files, including documentation and compliance checks. Facilitate new hire onboarding processes, including document verification and orientation. Track and manage employee attendance records, addressing discrepancies as needed. Update and maintain leave records, ensuring compliance with company policies and approvals. Input and update employee data from personal files into the HR Management System (HRMS) to streamline processes. Assist with various administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and supporting HR initiatives.

Currently serving as Class Coordinator, I act as a bridge between students and faculty, ensuring smooth communication, addressing student concerns, and supporting both academic and extracurricular activities. As Sports Secretary, I lead inter-department and inter-college sports events, promoting teamwork, discipline, and a culture of active participation. Previously, as Technical Secretary, I coordinated the university’s annual Tech Fest “Vidyantrik”, managing workshops and competitions that encouraged innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence among students.

Served as Class Representative during graduation, acting as the liaison between students and faculty, coordinating academic activities, resolving student concerns, and ensuring smooth communication within the class.
