I helped relaunch a newspaper that is part of the very fabric of local news in Montreal. I built the content strategy and organize the news team. I also help produce content.

I offer digital marketing analyses and recommendations for news media (content strategies, social media, digital sales, etc.)

I supervised all content production for Métro, a daily paper in Montreal. My tasks included handing out assignments, approving articles and videos, planning for future coverage, as well as the general coordination of the newsroom. I was also responsible for Métro's online growth.

I mostly covered City Hall, as well as related issues including transportation, housing, urban development, federal and provincial politics when relevant, etc. I produced innumerable articles and many videos.

I have written many freelance pieces concerning education, crime, culture and politics. Some of my clients include 24 Heures, University Affairs and La Nouvelle (Sherbrooke).

I mostly translate news articles, but I have also worked on various technical documents and promotional material. I can translate from French to English and vice versa.

I mainly covered crime, as well as local politics in Brossard and Longueuil. I wrote many articles and launched several investigations.

I covered municipal politics and Montréal urban life.

La Frontière is a weekly paper in the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region. I covered crime-related topics in Rouyn-Noranda.

L'Acadie Nouvelle is New Brunswick's French-language daily paper. I covered many kinds of topics for the Grand-Falls area, as well as several provincial and national stories.

La Tribune is a daily paper in Sherbrooke, QC. I covered various topics including crime, sports and politics. I also did some layout work.

My graduate degree in linguistics has helped me develop an expertise that few reporters share. I have excellent knowledge about regional differences in the French language and the local sensitivities that these differences are associated with in various communities. I am also aware of all the factors that influence the evolution of language and of language sentiments.

I finished my undergraduate degree in communications and multimedia in April 2011. The programme has allowed me to develop my abilities in all types of reporting and journalism and has also helped me perfect my writing style. I have also had some training in several fields that I will come into contact with as a journalist, including public relations.
