Olivia Jo Bradley

Designed and set up a test suite to test the wear of various consumable components of the printer when printing with different plastic filaments. I provided recommendations for customer-facing consumable replacements and documentation for a testing suite that can be run on future filament offerings.

I worked on testing and evaluating Nissan’s Propilot autonomous drive system. During this internship, I went on multiple evaluation trips around the Eastern United States. I also benchmarked Nissan’s Active Safety Features against their competitors and created a proposal based on the collected information. I helped prep multiple cars with testing and data collection systems, so they would collect performance data throughout the United States.

Worked on the battery system of the car for the Formula SAE Electric competition. Tested and designed the nickel fusible links on the batteries. Designed and manufactured the enclosure for the Low Voltage Battery.

The mission of the PVPHS FIRST Robotics Team 2637 is to let students explore all areas of education and to work with mentors to share and apply knowledge of engineering, business, and leadership skills through a fun, hands-on experience. As a team, members work toward a common goal of designing, building, marketing, and operating a competitive robot in a business-like environment while supporting the ideals of FIRST. Worked in the Solar Arrays Department under Perry Ciampaglia. Learned how solar arrays are used on satellites and assisted with solar array design and analysis. (i.e. drawing generation/modification, analytical calculations, layouts, specifications, etc.) Received 2nd Place for Best Presentation in the 2018 Internship Poster Session, where interns summarized our experience and shared what we learned.
