As I embark on my first out-of-state transfer to the Starbucks in Louisville, KY, I am excited to bring my extensive knowledge and experience to this new location. At the Dutchmans Lane store, I am committed to upholding Starbucks' high standards while mentoring baristas and shift leaders in a positive manner. My goal is to enhance the customer experience by fostering a café atmosphere that makes patrons feel valued. This includes personal touches like asking for their names and serving food on plates, along with offering freshly brewed coffee in Starbucks mugs. I take pride in brightening customers' days by greeting them personally and writing uplifting messages on their cups. As I continue my journey with Starbucks, I am eager to step into a management role while completing my education.

As I progress in my career with Starbucks, I am excited to take on the role of a corporate barista, which will allow me to advance within the company while pursuing my degree through the ASU program. Having been accepted for this position, I bring with me a solid understanding of Starbucks' standards and a vibrant personality that enhances the customer experience. My time at a licensed store has equipped me with valuable skills in café operations, customer service, and inventory management, while my experience at a corporate location has deepened my knowledge of drive-thru operations and promotional strategies. Additionally, I have explored various Starbucks merchandise from around the world, showcasing these items to inspire customer purchases. This journey has bolstered my confidence as I balance work and school, and I am grateful for the support from my first corporate store managers, Holly Aaron and Wo Owen, as well as our district manager, Sommer Harper, who uphold the high standards of Starbucks in Pensacola and throughout Florida.

My journey with Starbucks began at the University of West Florida's licensed café in Pensacola, Florida. I started by adhering to the company's established standards, quickly learning the essential beverage and food codes used for labeling cups and pastry bags. This experience underscored the importance of effective customer communication in creating a welcoming atmosphere, where every interaction is marked by smiles and gratitude. Working in a café-only environment significantly boosted my confidence in delivering high-quality service, as I focused on providing an exceptional hospitality experience for college students, professors, staff, and visitors alike. As a dedicated barista, I take pride in my ability to offer personalized service and craft outstanding coffee beverages, all while excelling in multitasking and consistently exceeding customer expectations.
