Oliver Spicer
Senior Market Access Manager - Oncology
About
I currently work in Market Access at Astellas Pharma Canada, a pharmaceutical company well known for its patient focused mission. I hold a Honours Bachelor of Science and a Masters of Biotechnology from the University of Toronto. Currently, I am also a PhD candidate in Health Economics, also at the University of Toronto. Prior to entering the pharmaceutical sector, I worked in Canada's esteemed mining sector. After several years, I made the cognizant decision to exit the mining sector. Still, I am thankful for my time spent in it. I was able to meet and befriend a diverse range of personalities and to see parts of Canada that few people get to experience. It also solidified in me a host of valuable intangible traits such as: resilience, resourcefulness, and flexibility - to name but a few.
