Oliver Ellery

I’m Oliver Ellery - Business Development Manager for the South at Waxman Energy, one of the UK’s leading Solar PV distributors. With a 1st BA (Hons) Degree in Business Management from Kingston University, I combine strong commercial expertise with a passion for sustainability, helping clients access innovative renewable energy solutions that drive growth and positive change. Beyond my career in renewable energy, I’m proud to be actively involved in football governance and community sport. I currently serve as a National Serious Case Panel Member for The Football Association, and I am Chairman of Staines & Lammas (Middx) FC, a Step 6 club in the National League System. I also hold the role of Club Secretary at one of the largest volunteer-run clubs in the area, supporting grassroots football and strengthening local opportunities for players and volunteers. In addition, I am honoured to serve as a Cadet Forces Adult Volunteer in the Royal Air Force Air Cadets, holding the rank of Flight Sergeant. I currently support two local squadrons, where I help develop young people through leadership, mentoring, and community engagement. My earlier career in hospitality and retail gave me a strong foundation in customer service, problem-solving, and working with diverse teams. These experiences shaped me into an adaptable and committed individual who thrives in dynamic environments. Whether in business development, football governance, or youth development, I approach every opportunity with dedication, professionalism, and 110% effort. I’m passionate about growth, both personally and professionally, and contributing to organisations that make a lasting impact.
