I am responsible for managing the overall activities in the second and third shift. I am accountable to coordinate each process basing on volume/priority of the cases for the next day. Perform control test on all autoclaves. Sterilize instruments, supplies and equipments using various types of autoclaves (Gentinge, Steris, Sterrad). Complete appropriate documentation records prior and after sterilizations using IMPRESS System. Assemble all instrument procedure trays, packs and supply carts using correspondent protocols. Dispense products requested by verbal, written or telephone requisitions for equipment and supplies. Examine sterilization/expiration dates. Regularly get feedbacks on the process to make the necessary improvements to help maintain a steady workflow.

Collect and prepare all documents and items for reprocessing, and accurately screen sterilization data for required record keeping. Perform biological and chemical tests at the beginning of every day, and at every new load to be sterilized. Cared for specimens and cultures as directed by hospital policy and procedure. Safely transferred and transported patients to and from O.R. and P.A.C.U., using proper body mechanics.
