For more than two decades, my work has centered on one question: how do we turn wasted thermal energy into a usable resource that strengthens the world’s most critical infrastructure? Years of research in heat transfer, absorption cycles, waste heat recovery, and thermodynamic system design led to a breakthrough now at the core of RefJet. The timing could not be more significant. AI workloads are surging, grid capacity is strained, and data centers are hitting thermal limits that stall growth. Decades of R&D converged at the exact moment the industry needs a new way to create power availability. RefJet was built on the belief that rejected heat is not a liability but one of the largest untapped assets in data centers. The Heat Waste Transfer engine converts low-grade heat into usable cooling capacity, creating new megawatts inside existing facilities. The benefits are clear: increased rack density, added cooling headroom, major reductions in mechanical cooling load, and faster revenue expansion without grid upgrades or heavy capex. DOE and CEC validations, a TRL5 working prototype, and a portfolio of more than 15 patents reflect the strength of the physics and the depth of development that support the technology. My work with Wilson Engineering Technologies produced foundational advances in thermo vacuum drying, binary fluid cycles, and industrial heat recovery systems. This research generated more than 40 peer reviewed papers and a patent family that anchors RefJet’s architecture. Leading federally and state funded programs, building cross functional engineering teams, and delivering new thermal systems into operating environments created the foundation that makes scaled deployment possible today. AI is now limited not by chips but by power and cooling capacity. Operators everywhere face the same barriers: cooling consuming 35 to 45 percent of site power, long waits for grid upgrades, and thermal bottlenecks that restrict revenue. RefJet provides a way to unlock trapped megawatts instantly, expand compute inside the same footprint, and reduce dependence on water and mechanical cooling. My mission is to help the data center industry break through the thermal and power limits that are slowing AI adoption.
