– Translating and proofreading from English into Ukrainian (software and video games UI, patch notes, marketing materials, KB articles, gaming hardware, VR software and hardware, subtitles, literary texts, comics, etc.) with a heavy focus on quality in a fast-paced environment. – Performing LQA of translated content prior to and after its publication. – Reporting localization issues by following the established process. – Triaging reported localization issues. – Managing the bug tracking process focused primarily on localization issues (performing the necessary maintenance tasks, making team-wide reminders about the process, updating the related instructions on an as-needed basis, integrating the feedback received from the client and colleagues, looking for ways to improve the process, collaborating with localization engineers on implementing various process improvements). – Conducting one of the LQA processes and coordinating between the language teams, team leads, and the client. – Creating the hand-offs for one of the ongoing projects and coordinating between several departments and the client. – Organizing and maintaining English-Ukrainian termbase. – Contributing my knowledge and experience to the documented department-wide know-how by creating and editing internal KB articles on work processes and procedures.

– Helping Russian- and Ukrainian-speaking users resolve their technical and account related issues via help requests. – Reporting localization errors encountered in help request system. – Providing suggestions for improving the quality of standard (pre-created) responses, KB articles, and the documented process.

– Performing assigned test cases and tasks as per written and verbal instructions. – Identifying, logging and reproducing bugs according to specified guidelines. – Testing titles in the target language as part of localization testing (Russian, Polish, occasionally Ukrainian). – Spotting any localization issues which may impact the end user experience (incorrectly localized, non-localized, placeholder, cut-off, overlapping text, mismatch of audio and subtitles, etc.). – Checking the terminology against the approved list of standard terms and reporting any mismatches.

Providing data analysis of ads (English and Russian) and their evaluation for a major search engine based on the client's advertising product guidelines.

– Proposing ideas with sketches (prepared in Photoshop), searching for images or photos to be used as drafts for modeling, or receiving such drafts from the employer. – Creating new models (rings, pendants, bracelets, earrings) based on sketches, photos or existing models, and finishing or amending the existing models using specialized software (Rhinoceros 3D with plug-ins).
