FRANKFURT SCHOOL OF FINANCE AND MANAGEMENT - Germany International Advisory Services (Ethiopia) Human Resources Consultant/Trainer Developed and delivered trainings for employees of Commercial Bank of Ethiopia and Construction and Business Bank -Ethiopia. {Directors, Managers, Process Experts, Branch Managers, Customer Service Managers, Human Resources Business Partners, employees in Human Resource Management and Human Resources Development}. Key Results: Developed Training on Curriculum and Program Development & Learning and Development Needs Assessment by using materials from relevant sources; text, videos, case-studies and exercises. Trained over 3,000 employees at various locations in Ethiopia on Human Resource Management for non-Human Resource Managers, Conducting Performance Appraisal, Training Curriculum and Program Development, Learning and Development Needs Assessment, Coaching for Managers, Managing the Training Function, and Communicating Effectively. This helped with the transformation process of the bank.

Played a key role in the successful launch of AB Bank in Rwanda, set up processes and systems such as human resource policy, staff loan policy, employee guide, salary scale, job descriptions, recruitment and selection process, leave tracker, HR forms and templates, employees’ induction and new joiner’s documentation, HR report system, career paths, stock inventory register. And coached HR Officer on all HR systems and processes.

Established processes and systems which include the annual performance appraisal, HR visits and meetings with employees, and team building training. Coached and developed the competencies of human resources staff. Developed the competencies of Managers under the Management Development Program.

Human Resources Officer/Management Skills Trainer (Sep 2009 – Dec 2012) Responsible for payroll, recruitment and selection, new hires induction, code of conduct training, leave administration, exit management, management skills training, development of policies and procedures, HR reports, transition to HRIS and Employee Insurance. Executive Assistant (Jun 2008 – Sep 2009) I was the first employee of the bank and was responsible for the initial set up of human resources and administration, minutes taking, office events and official launch of the bank.

Reviewed ToR; Terms of reference and Consultants CV for technical program input, prepared Contracts and monitored the contract due dates and extensions, provided feedbacks on contracting processes, monitored overall program implementation according to work plans/schedules, prepared reports on consultants’ assignments, advance rrequisitions, Expense retirements and contract claims and distributed project reports. Key Results: Successfully organized Technical group meeting with participants in attendance from all over Nigeria and internationally. Minimized the company’s exposure to risks by evaluating the contract terms for the Consultants. Ensured no double or excess payments of consultants’ fees and per-diems through accurate time-sheets.

Supervised the fisheries sites; ponds in the city and in the outskirts and also monitored the harvest from the sites. Participated in the fisheries fair in the state. This was a one-year service to the nation under the National Youth Service Corps Scheme.
