Responsible for delivering Sweden’s most ambitious FTTX rollout plan. I managed a team with 80-100 project managers in 6 geographical regions. The project portfolio included more than 400 projects and the portfolio budget was ~6 BSEK, (2,5 BSEK/yr.) Key focus - Transformation and Control with increased capacity. I was hired as a consultant to support the current Head of RO after a landgrab expansion where the roll out wasn't able to keep up. I was asked to replace him after 6 months and was employed a year later. As a result of the challenges we found, we redesigned everything in the delivery process to create a structure to enable efficiency and scale. I have among other things, established a new design framework, a new contractor contract setup, introduced a new project management tool and made a + 50% change of staffing. The changes we implemented was a key factor that enabled the sale of the company during the spring off 2019. By setting a few guiding principles early and appealing to personal ownership we made a huge turnaround. Rather than setting short term targets, we have focused on our capacity at different stages in the process and to create an environment with solid frames from which overall capacity can evolve.
