Oksana Viter

I combine extensive experience in TV news and daily online journalism, as an editor, editorial writer and reporter, with a solid academic background that includes a Master’s degree in world history from the Donetsk national University, Donetsk, Ukraine. Throughout my career, I have earned a reputation for deep analysis, comprehensive approach and easy style. From July 2022 to now I serve as journalist of the Radio France International Ukrainian, responsible for writing articles. Previous posts include editor of the TV and daily radio program for the Radio Liberty; editorial writer specializing in international affairs topics, including trade policy; and, legislative correspondent for the EU project Pravo-Justice. I was also a screenwriter and director on set of childish TV-show Kid-Svit: As well as my Master’s degree, I have a certificates from Marketing Strategi and journalistic research courses. I can do editing of video on professional level (4-year experience) and be TV and radio presenter (3-year experience) I had the privilege of serving two years on the board of the international public organization Internews, where I coordinated the EU-project Declarations (about civil servants incomes) and documental-movies producing project Ukraine+ . The first project activity contributed to the eradication of corruption in Ukraine and the second provided digital development of Ukrainian media and taught how to create documentaries. I am 3-lingual (English, Ukrainian, Russian).
