As a Divisional Technical Head Operations and Maintenance [O & M], I lead and manage FCAPS, network and team performance, operational excellence, business/sales support, complaint resolution, problem management, governance, and network improvement. Overseeing Five Technical-Network regions with a diverse array of over 2000 sites [2G/3G/4G] and core locations, I provide leadership for a team of over 110 staff within the division. Drive and maintain 99.99% network availability and compliance with NCC QoS benchmarks, leveraging predictive maintenance, intelligent automation, and precision-based fault resolution—anchored in full compliance with national telecom regulatory standards within the division.

Major Projects Achieved: • Rolled out 528_2.6 G-LTE and 147-MW sites infra deployment and implementation of Lagos project for network capacity / high speed / QoS / coverage improvement [Dec 2024 – April 2025]. • Rolled out 315_2.6 G-LTE and 20-5G sites, poc infra deployment and implementation of Pan Nigeria project for network capacity / high speed / QoS / coverage improvement [Feb – March 2024]. • Managed GLO-Huawei Manage services [MS-2000 sites of Lagos, Ibadan, Benin, and Abuja Region] for active service delivery project [July, 2022 - June 2023]. • Managed Glo-Telenoetica IBS / DAS solution and cell site [2G / 3G / 4G_700 / LTE1800] implementation at United Bank of Nigeria HQ [19 floors] and extension, First Bank HQ [17 floors] and annex building [3 floors], Access Bank HQ [15 floors] for enhance network coverage and QoS. • Managed 469 sites Huawei LTE2.6G network deployment/implementation Pan Nigeria to enhance network coverage and capacity-based improvement.

To control, manage and support day to day network operations to achieve highest network availability and desired quality to achieve optimum customer satisfaction and positive Internal Rate of Return [IRR]. • Led the end-to-end project management of Network Operations and Maintenance (O&M) activities across the assigned territory, • Oversaw critical network assets [MSC, BSC, Transport, Power Systems, Core Network] to ensure operational excellence and strategic alignment within the assigned territory. • Ensured 99.99% network availability and met NCC's QoS benchmarks 24/7 within the assigned territory. • Led maintenance, audits, and optimization to minimize risks, improve service quality, and exceed QoS/KPI targets. Major Projects Achieved:  Managed a $55 million GLO-Huawei Hybrid power solution system in 250 sites in Lagos state for efficient & effective network availability [99.999%] & quality of service improvement.  Managed a $28 million GLO-TYDACOMM innovative [Longhaul] antenna products for higher network profits at the following locations for high Network availability and quality of service improvement. Dolphin Estate-Ikoyi & Environs, VGC Estate-Lekki & Environs, Dangote refinery-Ibeju, 3rd Mainland brige.  Managed Globacom Technical project team for GLO-4G_LTE 700MHz 28 band Network Project [implementation, commissioning, integration & acceptance] and commercial launch for over 1200 cell sites withing the territory.

Major Projects Achieved :  Implemented BSS / Satellite Earth station sites at Nigeria-Chad / Nigeria-Cameroon Republic boundary and other 300 new sites in the Region.  Managed Globacom Technical project team on a network optimization and quality of service improvement through 3G network Multi-sector innovation across the territory / states and achieved 20% traffic / revenue growth.  Managed Globacom Technical project team on a GLO-Huawei 2G / 3G Full IP base Network Swap project of 1000 cell sites ZTE Vendor Equipment swap to Huawei Equipment and achieved 25% cost savings. Job Description :  Plan, schedule and coordinate all Network Operations activities in the state.  Ensure that all the FSM’s and Engineers in the state carry out all assigned tasks and duties efficiently and promptly.  Plan and implement preventive, scheduled and corrective maintenance in the state.  Effective resource and financial management and timely retirement of float used in the state.  Work with the human resources department on manpower planning and employee development, performance management/appraisal for team members.  Regular monthly meetings with power contractors and to ensure prompt fueling and maintenance of all sites including new sites.  Provide daily feedback on key issues and monthly reports to the regional technical head (RTH) and National Head Operations & Maintenance.  Ensure good network quality by carrying out regular drive test in the region and liaising with the National level on optimization units for resolution.  Responsible for all network elements [especially MSC, BSC, Core Transmission path, Power systems, etc.] in the Region. Acceptance of upcoming new sites/network improvement projects inclusive.

Major Achievement :  I was part of the project team responsible for implementation, commissioning, integration and acceptance of Globacom Network in the north eastern region [Borno, Yobe, Adamawa, Jigawa, Bauchi and Gombe States] for over 700 sites.  I was part of the project team responsible for implementation, commissioning, integration, acceptance and optimization of Globacom north eastern region of Nigeria transport backbone network [Alcatel SDH 15 hops turnkey acceptance test carried out]. Job Description :  Plan, schedule and coordinate all Network Operations activities in the cluster.  Ensure that the Engineers in the cluster carry out all assigned tasks and duties efficiently and promptly.  Escalate to Regional Technical Head (RTH) network related issues to minimize downtime and prompt intervention and follow up until final resolution.  Management of database, configuration management, record keeping, version control, tools and test equipment for the cluster etc.  Plan and implements preventive, scheduled and corrective maintenance on network elements in the cluster.  Training and mentoring of news Engineers.  Responsibley for backhauling of faulty network elements (within 48hrs) in conjunction with the warehouse.  Liaise with power contractors to ensure prompt fuelling and maintenance of effective power systems in all sites  Give daily feedback and weekly reports to the Regional Technical Head  Diagnosis, Neutralization, Correction of hardware, software and configuration problems on BSS, TRANSMISSION/VSAT AND POWER systems (ALCATEL-LUCENT [LSY & ADM] AND HUAWEI Equipments)  Perform regular network optimization for effective network QOS  Take ownership of all BSS, TRANSMISSSION AND POWER elements in the cluster.

 Responsible for operations and maintenance of GLOBACOM BSS/TRANSMISSION/VSAT network and Power systems, providing first level corrective maintenance activities  Diagnosis, neutralization, correction of hardware, software and configuration problems on ALCATEL BSS/TRANSMISSION/VSAT network systems [ALCATEL [LSY & ADM Equipments (Including power systems).  Perform site/Equipment Commissioning, integration and acceptance of Alcatel-Lucent, Huawei, Ceragon and ZTE BSS Elements and Transmission network systems. Power Systems Elements inclusive.  Broadband network/earth station design and implementation.  Installation and configuration of VSAT modems [Radyne comstream & Data paradise] for data communication.  Installation and commissioning of NMS [Access Gate] equipment on BSS/VSAT network.  Prepare and regularly update all network information and documentaion of network performance statistics.  To be up to date on all issues concerning sites in my assigned cluster (BSS / TRANSMISSION / POWER) and VSAT network system monitoring and earth station administration including earth station equipment inventory control, status report, satellite network diagram updates, equipment inspection, monitor and control.  Perform first level power problem resolutions on generators/IP55/rectifiers.
