As a final-year Food Science and Technology student at Universiti Teknologi MARA, I am passionate about food safety, quality assurance, and sustainability. What is food science? No, it’s not just cooking and eating! Food science applies chemistry, microbiology, and engineering to ensure food is safe, high-quality, and sustainable from farm to table. It plays a crucial role in food safety, product development, packaging innovation, and nutrition. My journey in this field includes research on pandan-based molded pulp for sustainable packaging (FOSTUC 2025) and hands-on experience in GMP, quality control, quality assurance and food safety. Through the UiTM K-Youth Programme, I also honed industry-relevant skills and insights.I had internship as hands on experience where I applied my skills and knowledge for maintaining food standards and operating procedures in food industry.
