My role here as client's accountant is to handle all client's accounting matters so client can have more time focusing on their business. My job requires me to prepare management account for clients, prepare gst and unaudited reports, weekly cash schedule (for certain client), filing of unaudited report in XBRL format (singapore client) and liaise with auditor. During my years with this company, other than handling client's account, I have been assigned to prepare payroll for Singapore employees. Therefore, I am familiar with payroll process, like submission of cpf, SDL and other contribution and employment rules in Singapore. It was fun since this is entirely a new knowledge and experience for me. Other new experience I have gained from Vistra is preparing accounts for a trust. This is a little different from company's account as they are managing a person's wealth instead of company. My client portfolio varies from all around the world and different business industry. From trading company, investment company, trust account and holding company ( some require consolidated account). you name it ! Working here also helps to polish my interpersonal skills as I am always liaising with others whether internally or external. Making me more independent as I was given a list of clients to handle on my own. Improve my fundamental knowledge by attending trainings, seminar and having a senior who are always free to share their knowledge.

My responsibility is to help our clients to adhere with Malaysia's tax rules & regulation. My job require me to liaise with IRB and I have established a good relationship with them. Here, I learn to have control over my job. I develop an ability to work under tight deadlines and always able to complete my job in time before the due date. I keep myself updated with IRB public ruling to provide accurate tax information to our clients.

My job here requires me to prepare accounts,GST submission, audit and tax. During my employment here, I met a very difficult client. I get through with it with a compliment from both my client and my superior. I take this as an achievement, I am able to handle all sorts of people and always make sure that they are satisfied with my work. Hence, I was assigned to handle audit department public relation. I have to engage with client and assign the job to the person incharge. As a team player, I am more than happy to provide assistance, guidance and motivate my teamates by helping them in areas that require my attention. I never hesitate to help and share my knowledge.

My job scope is to assist audit senior in completion of audit work from analysing the business nature, preparation of working papers and audit report. I was engaged to a numerous field, majority in trading, manufacturing and a few in construction and development. My senior was a great mentor that I learn and understand a lot about auditing. I am well versed in MFRS and FRS and able to identify inefficiency in a company and consult client how to overcome these problems.
