I’ve been working in purchasing for the past 8 years and right now, I’m a Purchasing Executive at Contraves Advanced Devices. Over the years, I’ve handled everything from sourcing suppliers and negotiating prices to managing purchase orders and making sure everything arrives on time. I use SAP daily, especially the MM module, which helps me keep track of stock and stay on top of everything.I started my career in the furniture industry, then moved into healthcare at Mahkota Medical Centre, and later into manufacturing. Each place taught me something new and helped me become more confident and adaptable in different environments.I enjoy working with people from different departments, like customer coordinator, planner & warehouse because I believe smooth coordination is the key to a successful procurement process. I also take pride in being organized, quick to learn, and always open to improving how things are done.For me, purchasing isn’t just about buying things but it’s about finding the right balance between cost, quality, and timing, and making sure the company runs efficiently behind the scenes.
