Hired to assist Lab Manager in conducting mechanical testing and improving production line process efficiency Exposure Include:  Assisted mechanical testing for the polymer-based materials such as Tensile and Flexural Test, Elongation and Yield Test, Ash contents in Thermoplastics.  Conducted work instruction check or “WI-check” on the lab technicians and the production area operators.  Prepared samples of polymer-based materials. For example, hands-on on Injection Molder and Hot-press Machine.  Improved SOP for the mechanical testing procedures for Heat Deflection Temperature Test for better understanding and safety purposes.  Assisted in implementing '5S' concept in laboratory and production area.  Improved safety practices through experiences in handling mechanical testing by incorporating hazard recognition in procedures/SOP.
