At ERA Group we develop cost optimization projects, through the understanding of the cost structure of the company, the review of the purchasing model and processes, the identification of best practices and efficient negotiation with the supplier base. We use a work methodology developed since 1992 and that has allowed us, through a team of consultants specialized in the different categories of costs, to deliver satisfactory results with an impact on the accounts to more than 500 clients in Spain, in more than 45 different categories of expenses.

Responsible for managing the international activity of intecsa in countries such as Saudi Arabia, Israel, Colombia, Mexico and Portugal.

Responsible for corporate business development of water infrastructure projects and services for water utilities. Main activities include project development, partnership agreements (local partners, international funding agencies), operations management, budget preparation and financial control, coordination of group companies, bid preparation and contract negotiation.

Responsible for managing the Civil Engineering and IT Divisions P&L, the development of international business and projects management, supported by division directors, country managers, project directors, technical staff and finance controllers, based in +15 countries. Lead transformation projects to improve the organizational model efficiency, modernize engineering services portfolio and improve general profitability.

Responsible for managing the water and environment division, including the company dedicated to the design of water treatment facilities. Responsibilities included corporate budget preparation, business development and project management.

Responsible for planning and directing the implementation of international engineering, IT and technical assistance projects. Responsibilities included ensuring budgetary compliance, projects delivery and the coordination of a global team of project managers and technical staff. Implemented the Project Management Office and supported project managers providing specific expertise required for the most complex projects.

Responsible for managing projects in international locations, mainly funded by International Funding Agencies, aiming to improve the efficiency of water utilities, through technical assistance and service management contracts. Also responsible for the implementation of organizational and technological projects within the group, aiming to transform and modernize some of the support functions and to improve overall efficiency.

Responsible for leading the shared service center, providing services to the group companies. These included functional areas such as engineering, procurement and HR. Together with the reorganization of the procurement and purchase function, developed, together with Deloitte, one of the first B2B electronic purchasing catalogs in Portugal, allowing users to procure cars, office equipment and other shopping categories.

Implemented management consultancy projects in the areas of strategy and organization, in sectors such as automation, telecommunications and environmental services. As part of the management consultancy team, designed the organizational model of Aguas de Portugal Group.

Responsible for the Business Development in the South Region of Portugal, for the urban water products portfolio, through direct sales and distribution channels.
