• Scheduling and conducting interviews • Negotiating salary packages • Following the necessary processes in order to obtain the required internal approvals • Setting up assessments and assessment feedback sessions • Ensuring that all verifications are run on all successful candidates - prior to appointment • Maintaining regular liaison with hiring managers to ensure that recruitment plans and headcount targets support and meet the business needs and objectives. • Ensuring full business participation in the recruitment process and programmes • Building and maintaining relationships with target candidates and stakeholders • Delivering exceptional candidate experiences by setting expectations, communicating updates, and providing useful feedback. • Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and firm compliance throughout the recruitment process. • Using web-based hiring tools to find the right candidate, while making sure our processes are followed to a high standard. • Directly sourcing and attracting passive candidates by exploring alternative and traditional recruitment channels. • Managing the ABSA agreed hiring process for each role you recruit for, and focusing on quality and continually improving the way we work. • Stepping outside of my comfort zone and getting involved in exciting projects across our wider People Team

Act as strategic partners to hiring managers for job opening requirements Determine appropriate recruiting sources for advertising and posting positions Work with agencies, and/or internet website representatives when conducting employment advertising campaigns Engage with line managers when a new job opening occurs to help them identify the exact skills set required, the best approaches to recruit for the position and to advise generally on the best method to fill the position for best long-term business results Source and identify qualified candidates in the marketplace for current and future job openings Collate sources of information regarding candidates, including information from employment checks, psychometric assessments and discuss it with the hiring manager to facilitate an appropriate hiring decision Monitor and maintain internal and external job postings Invoicing and other general admin responsibilities
