As a Senior Software Engineer my responsibilities at ScienceSoft included: - Designing and developing distributed fault-tolerant high availability systems based on microservice architecture, backend solutions such as RESTful web services, admin panels, social network aggregators, integrations with GPS tracker devices for parental control, migrating from legacy CMS's and platforms to a brand new solutions. - Projecting databases's structure, integrating with both relational and NoSQL DBMS's, message-oriented middlewares such as RabbitMQ and Amazon SQS. - Deploying application code to the AWS cloud, the services include Amazon IoT, ECS/ECR/EC2, ELB, CloudWatch, Lambda, RDS, ElastiCache, SQS/SNS, S3, EFS/EBS, Route 53, VPC, IAM, KMS. - Monitoring application health, optimizing performance, collaborating with the DevOps team to maintain solutions in production. - Code quality control, project documentation maintenance. - Preparing and winning RFP's, estimating future scope of work, taking part in RFP collaborations and meetings. - Leading technical interviews, mentoring newcomers.

During working at Itransition as a Senior Software Engineer I took part in different types of activities including: - Web application development (RESTful web services, eCommerce systems, large CRM systems, web business command centers representing high-loaded and scalable applications, network traffic management solutions, single page applications and so on). - Software architecture and database design using both SQL and NoSQL database management systems. - Optimising and monitoring application performance, integrating different caching systems like Redis, Memcached, APC etc. - Managing developer teams of 3-5 members as a technical lead, using agile methods on long-lasting projects, delivering projects as a lead developer, code quality control and documentation creation. - Evaluating current and future technologies, estimating projects for the RFX department. - Leading technical interviews and student coaching courses (web development with Symfony/Doctrine, best practices in OOP, software design), mentoring newcomers.
