-Manage requests for quotes/proposals (RFQ) and select the best distributors consistent with cost, quality and delivery requirements. -Develop and deploy a Digital strategy to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of Procurement function. -Sourcing for global and local suppliers for direct and indirect purchases. -Execute the local and foreign purchases as per the procurement policy and procedures to ensure best benefit and smooth working flow. -Placing orders to vendors and distributors. -Continuously perform spend review/analysis and identify cost reduction opportunities via sourcing strategy. In addition, work closely with strategic suppliers to achieve efficiency. -Develop and improve the Procurement cycle. -Lead end-to-end procurement processes including sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier performance management. -Handle correspondence concerning over-shipments, delivery shortage, change quantity, delivery dates, prices and reports such changes to the interested parties in a timely manner as required. -Analyze procurement data and market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements. -Conduct meetings with vendors and distributors. -Negotiating prices, payment term and delivery timescales. -Monitor vendors' and distributors' dues are paid in timely manner to maintain and enhance the given credit facility. -Follow up the orders up to delivery to Barq WH and expedite pending Purchase orders. -Lead Supplier development, supplier evaluation, and performance benchmarking. -Request payment for purchases by reviewing invoices and related documentation. -Preparing reports and presentations for managements. -Identify areas of improvement and opportunities for cost savings and reductions. -Manage indirect Procurement including Marketing and HR activities additionally assets and IT purchases. -Follow up and Manage RMA cases with the vendors. -Follow up the shipping and shipments status till receiving the order at our warehouse.

- Managing the local and foreign purchasing activities. - Sourcing new suppliers and ensuring that purchased products and materials meet the required technical specifications. - Understand Mega projects milestones, objectives and implement procurement plans accordingly. - Negotiating purchase terms, prices and evaluating the suppliers' performance. - Analyze purchasing data and generate reports to support decision-making and cost reduction initiatives - Support and mentor junior purchasing staff and ensure consistent purchasing processes across the team. - Ensuring timely deliveries and resolving any supply issues or discrepancies. - Develop and implement Purchasing strategies aligned with organizational goals. - Issuing POs and following up the approval cycle. - Tracking orders and ensuring timely delivery. - Reporting Cash Forecast, open POs and other reports to Finance Team. - Conducting market and product research and cost analysis. - Issuing claims with the vendors to return the damaged items back to the vendor. - Sourcing new suppliers, developing and maintaining strong relationships with distributors. - Developing and implementing strategies for procurement and all activities. - Communicating with vendors to get required documents in order to issue ACID number and release the shipments. - Preparation of documents for customs clearance for foreign orders either by sea or air freight. - Searching for the best Freight rate and incoterm - Following up the status of shipments with brokers. - Organizing all the processes of issuing LC with vendors and finance department. - Conducted risk assessments and developed contingency plans for supply chain disruptions.

- Ensuring the timely and accurate processing of purchase orders to meet inventory and customer requirements. - Negotiating with the suppliers to get the best price. - Issuing the Purchase orders and follow up the orders status with suppliers. - Evaluating and selecting the best carrier for inbound less-than truckload shipments. - Working closely with inbound freight carriers to meet safety, service and cost objectives. - Coordinating with warehouse staff and vendors to resolve receiving discrepancies. - Ensure Purchasing processes comply with internal policies and industry standards. - Source and evaluate suppliers based on delivery timelines, pricing, support, and quality - Maintained excellent relationships with distributors through regular meetings.
